The Clock-Case - From Ghetsuhm (Valentine's 2002)

Oh yeah, like she needed reminding. "It's not my birthday yet. And believe me, the fat pink naked people decorations are not in my honour. It's Valentine's Day. Don't make me explain Valentine's Day. I find it one of the more sadistic holidays. But anyway, come here." She had the grace to blush as she pulled Y'roden's present out of the pile of boxes in the corner.
There were several peculiar things about this box. For a start, it was a case-clock. Except the clock was broken. It was stuck at one particular moment in time. There was a large emerald on the lid, but there was a tiny little hidden catch which allowed the gem to slide aside. Underneath, was a small engraved "y". Except if you tilted the box to the light, a light engraving of fern arched across the top of the letter, turning it into a "g". Inside the letter, were two tiny stones, a garnet and an aquamarine, the colours of Ghet's hair and eyes. She didn't figure it would take him long to find it.

The Elemiire Globe - From Silverthorn (Yule 2002)

"I have a present for you too" she said. She picked up a box she had hidden under the tree when she had arrived, a faint hint of nervousness appearing in her eyes. The elf was never very sure about present giving. She was always convinced she'd gotten the wrong thing and this time was no different. Handing him the box she said, "well, I wasn't sure what to get you and you always seemed curious and.." She stopped, aware she was starting to ramble. She shrugged uncomfortably, "well, anyway..Merry Yule."

Holy Feather - From Shadow (Yule 2002)

My turn!" Grinning she crooked her finger at an oblong package that her son had placed under the tree, plucking it from the air when it reached them she offered it to Y'roden.
"It isn't anything fancy I'm afraid." She began once the gift was opened, blushing slightly. "Its hard to break habits that have been passed down through generations. My people believe that birds are the messenger of the gods, and that their feathers are..." Tilting her head she searched for the right word and sighed when it didn't come to mind. "Holy is the closest word I can think of for the one I want." Shrugging just a little she kissed Ro on the cheek again. "Merry Yule, Uncle Pork Chop."
