Ghetsuhm Riker, Y'Roden's wife. A relationship spanning centuries that went from friendship, to lovers, to beloved... and back again. The fire that cannot be quenched, his first love and the woman that possesses his heart and soul. The pair share an inate understanding of one another's darker side, only with one another can they be the entirety of themselves, dark and light without fear of recrimination or judgement. Communication is easy and other baser desires are fufilled in ways no one else can hope to manage.

Callan Blackthorn, one of Ro's best friends. Y'Roden met Callan in the middle of an ocean and pulled him onboard the Lisse Nwalme. At the time, Callan was better known as Araxmarr, the Black Hand of the Diirlathe, Assassin to the Throne, and he had been sent for Ro. He never made the attempt however, and over time the two became reluctant friends through mutual respect. Centuries later, after Callan had become Emperor of the Diirlathe, they formed a Battle Bond that linked their families and Kingdoms. The bond is marked on each man by a Black Dragon wrapped around their sword hand and wrist. Several years later Callan married Y'Roden's sister An'Thaya after a series of events that led to her leaving Galain Alcarin for him.

Shadow Silverleaf, Ro's adopted daughter. He can't exactly remember when they met, but it seems like Shadow has always been there for him. There are many similarities between Ro and Shady and they find it very easy to relate to one another. The two can often be found hitting the bottle and generally goofing off together. She has seen the darker side of Ro and never judged him for it, and vice versa. They began as Uncle and Niece, but after some time Y'Roden officially adopted her. The two also shared a Parental Bond that ties Shadow to the D'Riel Web and Y'Roden to the Silverleaf Tapestry. The bond is reflected in a blank panther lounging on a sword that marks their right collar bones.

Task Diamondwood. Y'Roden ran across Task quite by accident, only to find out that she was Callan Blackthorn's lover and bethrothed. She was hurt and enraged by Callan's betrayal, having discovered his true identity after his death. Araxmarr Sar'da, Nargus' right hand and assassin. He had been ordered to infiltrate her village and kill off the last of her Mother's line. Instead, Callan fell in love with the Half-Elf and trusted Enkara's word, allowing himself to be killed so that Task might do what needed to be done. Out of loyalty and remembered friendship, Ro travelled with Task to the Diirlathe and befriended her, helping her on the quest to kill Nargus. He left before Callan was ressurcted, not to see him again until centuries later after Task passed away.

Summerlin Nightfall. Summerlin is the sister of Galain Alcarin, and Ro's one time lover. They share four children together from a relationship that spanned over five hundred years. Ro was never able to let go of Ghet and maintained his relationship with the redhead the entire time. In the end, he lost Sum to Reece Nightfall, the protector of Ro's younger sister. Sum and Ro maintain a comfortable friendship.

Silverthorn Badb Catha. Otherwise known as Arianne, she is Y'Roden's ex-wife. He left Ghet to persue a relationship with her, knowing the his first love would never leave Galain for him. They shared twenty odd years as husband and wife, but could never quite make it work. They lacked a basic understanding of one another's nature to the point where it seemed like they were speaking two different languages. Y'Roden broke their lifeline and bond when she became ill, the sickness of the land in S'Hea leaking through from his side of the bond and nearly killing her. Afterwards, he returned his wedding band in a letter, officially dissolving their marriage when he had himself sealed in the D'Riel Crypt. He was later ressurected by Ghetsuhm. Silverthorn and Y'Roden maintain a cordial relationship due to the number of children they share.

Mira Badb Catha. The daughter of Task and Callan, Ro felt an instant affinity for the Dragon-Elf. She is one of the few to have seen and touched his soul, and the two are good friends. He owes her a great debt for saving the life of his sister An'Thaya when her Soul nearly disintegrated, for helping him break his bond to Silverthorn... thus saving her life, and for saving Ghetsuhm's life after his ressurection.

Bran Badb Catha. Over the years, Bran and Ro have had their issues where Arianne is concerned. The odd thrown punch and harsh word, and one all out fight were involved. Ro still considers the relatively mild mannered fair elf a friend however, and owes him a few debts for the people saved when Mira and Bran work together as Soul Healers.

Meylor i Blackheart. One of Ro's 'adopted nieces', Meylor is a firecracker. The first time they met she corked him one in the jaw, and he likely deserved it. They seem to trade favours on saving one another from disaster and share a rather humorous friendship.

Saliyah of the Elven Mornay Clan, Ro's best friend and drinking buddy. Well.. ok, so things have gone a bit further then that on occassion, but it was all in good fun. She is a Mercenary, hiring out her skills as a Geomage, which is how they met. Ro needed someone with her particular talent. They discovered a shared passion for women, drinking ones self comatose, and hair braiding. Sal seemed to consider it her duty to keep Ro in line, which was fine with him, he probably needed a good cuff upside the head occassionally... and hey, the side benifits were not all that bad. When Ro needed her most, she was there as a vessle to bear his child, and in the end... the effort killed her. Y'Roden bears a heavy burden of guilt over his friend's death, and wears a Mornay braid in honor of her memory.

Melaina Alcarin. Another of Y'Roden's adopted neices, Mel has been on many an adventure with Ro. She sailed with him several times on the Lisse Nwalme and accompanied him when he saw Task through to the Blackthorn Keep. He watches over her when An'Thaya cannot, the Amazon was once the bondmate of Mel's mother Mystical, and practically raised her. Ro carries alot around of guilt now, he wasn't there for her at a critcal time and Mel died after being mistreated by her Grandfather. Ro was sealed away in the D'Riel Crypt at the time and didn't have a chance to say goodbye.

Fadil Elgerig. Y'Roden's best friend and the Captain of the S'Hean Guard. Fadil is the keeper of many of Ro's secrets and is completely loyal. He has literally been to Hell and back with Ro and doesn't quite get on with Ghet. Ro, however, trusts Fadil with his life.
