 Delen ended up aboard the Black Shoal on invitation from Maggie and her brother when
he travelled to Sargasso, escaping the assassins his father had set after him. He lived with them for quite some time in the
small island chain known as Hell's Islands, until King Valin D'Riel called for the three of them to serve the throne during Hell's
Fire. The three were separated at that point, until Delen reappeared above the City of Corin with the assassin Adrijana in talons.
The three took up again and headed back to Sargasso with a Gwen Greyford in tow.
Delen and Maggie have a flirtatious, tumultuous relationship that threw off enough sparks to start a good woodland fire and for a short period of time they became lovers. It ended when Delen made a deal with the krillante, tradingh himself for Bhayne's life. What became of him then is a mystery to Maggie.
