Iod was born to the line of Slayden Kings who have been in power since his Great-Grandsire’s time. Tales recited by his Father about the raids of the Black Kin on human lands and the war between the Black and Silver Houses had a lasting impression on him, and as a result, he has no love for either Dragon Kind or Elven Kind, and tends to be excessively… neutral. During Laer he allowed the Eldredae to ‘rest’ on Human lands on their way to attacking the Blackthorn Keep, thereby giving them the ‘upper hand’. children.
