B'Elya was born in the dark dimension of Tenobrous. She was thought dead by her parents for centuries, killed by Y’Roden in his Demon Elf guise. Kept by Samara she remained trapped in Tenobrous when Corin was brought back to Whispin. It was centuries later before the memory of what he had done to her returned to Y’Roden, and he went back into Tenobrous to bring her out.
The D'Riel Princess has spent the past few decades at the Crystal Keep with the Goddess Arminiea, healing life long wounds and finding her way to the light. Like her brother, she has a very dark side. Quiet, curious, and shy of people, B'Elya emerged from the Keep about seven years ago, seeking to find her place among the people.
There was a budding romance between the Princess of Corin and Argent Silverleaf of Arlsyn, but it was ended during the attack on Corin when Belle had a setback.
Belle also has a very close relationship with Dante Ab Rhiannon, once War Eagle, now human thanks to Xraden the God of Chaos. Over the years Belle had taken to spending most of her time in The Diirlathe, preferring Dante's company to any other.
It was during Scorched Earth, however, that Belle rekindled with Argent, and has since returned to Arlsyn, living as his guest in the White Palace of Sha'Dar. Not long after, Argent proposed and the two are now married.
