Belle met Dante before he was given the gift of human form. He was a War Eagle in the service of
the Black Dragon Emperor, Callan Blackthorn. Truly, a human soul trapped within a raptor as generations
before him had been. Belle relates better to animals than she does to people due to her traumatic
youth, and formed a bond to the feather creature.
As a reward for his service in the war for Corin, Xraden gifted Dante with human form. He is
now learning to live in humanoid form, a slow process. Belle is learning to accept the new Dante,
over the years she gravitated to the Diirlathe, prefering his company to any other.
Belle returned home periodically to 'Ground' and on one such occassion, Dante came to visit. Their relationship
nearly went to the next level, but both being shy and unsure, they stopped short. Then S'Hea itself became ill, and
Belle along with it. Faced with death, and the return of an old love... Belle finds herself torn.
In the end, it was Argent she chose and Dante set her free to find her 'wings'.
