Jaiden Alasse, An'Thaya's Windling wife.

Jaid was normally clad in a gold chain that embraced her waist and hooked onto the unicorn ring that marked her as Tay's. An identical ring pierced Tay's flesh as well; they were bound through the Windling marriage ceremony as witnessed by Galain, and later by Jaiden's tribe.

Windlings are able to conceive children with mates of the same gender.
Jaiden bore An'Thaya five children, Eos, Cadan, Ruan, Kerensa, and Steren. Their bond was broken when An'Thaya's soul shattered but they later re-forged it, she was still An'Thaya's wife.
Jaiden was mortal... a fact that weighed heavily on the Amazon's mind and heart. The Windling was ageing and there was nothing Tay could do to stop it. When the land of S'Hea and An'Thaya herself fell ill, Jaiden did as well. It wasn't long until the Windling passed beyond the veil. An'Thaya will always mourn the loss of her wife, a woman who was her anchor, her safe place in the storm. There will forever be echoes of autumn strands in the glimmering storms of An'Thaya and Callan's soul.

Sarah Brightman -- Who wants to live forever

There's no time for us,
There's no place for us,
What is this thing that builds our dreams,
Yet slips away from us.
Who wants to live forever,
Who wants to live forever, .....?
There's no chance for us,
It's all decided for us,
This world has only one sweet moment
Set aside for us.
Who wants to live forever,
Who wants to live forever, .....?
Now touch my tears with your lips,
Touch my world with your fingertips,
And we can have forever,
And we can love forever,
Forever is our today.
Who wants to live forever,
Who wants to live forever, .....?
Who waits forever anyway?
